Through this year’s START programme, we’ve seen it firsthand: when mentors make a genuine human connection, it opens up new possibilities. Young people are inspired to believe in themselves, to imagine bold futures, and to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
It’s a powerful reminder that the ROI of mentoring is enormous. Life-changing moments can happen in a single session — even a single conversation.
But it’s never just one-sided. Mentoring brings real value to the mentors too: a renewed perspective, fresh insights, and a reconnection to the energy and purpose that launched their own journey.
