A New Region Unlocked for START!
The entrepreneurial spirit is growing in young people across Scotland, and this week START broke new ground at the University of the West of Scotland‘s Hamilton Campus, with a fast-paced Design & Systems Sprint to launch the South West Region of our 2026-27 programme.
With five schools attending, the day was an exciting blend of Design Thinking workshops led by Tom Inns, and inspiring real-world advice from founders, Fraser Maitland and Jamie Middleton.
Huge thanks to our hosts and partners at UWS, in particular to Alison McIntosh, for helping the day run so smoothly.
With participants now engaging in our award-winning 25-week, SCQF accredited programme, we can’t wait to see what our young entrepreneurs build this year.
