We’re thrilled to announce that START is going on the road! The START Hackathon, a one-day, Scottish Government–funded event designed to empower the next generation of entrepreneurial thinkers, is taking place on 6th February 2026 in Aberdeen (One Tech Hub) and 27th February 2026 in Edinburgh (Edinburgh Future Institute). This event invites teams of five S4–S6 students (aged 14–17) to tackle real-world business challenges, with support and mentoring from local entrepreneurs.
There’s no entry fee, and lunch is provided — it’s fully funded and open to anyone curious about business, leadership, and innovation. Participants will hone their problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, and communication skills while connecting with inspiring peers and local entrepreneurs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn entrepreneurship in a hands-on way. Nominations close on 28th November 2025, so schools should sign up soon to secure their spot.
